EntropicCausalWeb is a groundbreaking Grasshopper plugin that animates a web of causal event-nodes governed by entropy, philosophy, and multivariable mathematics.

It’s an artistic–scientific tool designed to explore:

🔧 How to Install the .gha File

  1. Download the EntropicCausalWeb.gha plugin from
  2. 👉 www.wickersonstudios.com
  3. Copy it into your Grasshopper Libraries directory:

  5. CopyEdit
  6. C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\Roaming\Grasshopper\Libraries\
  7. Launch Rhino, open Grasshopper, and the component will load automatically.
  8. Look for the new component:

🧪 How to Use in a .gh File

  1. Open Grasshopper, create a new definition (.gh file).
  2. Drag and drop the Entropic Causal Web component into the canvas.
  3. Connect the following inputs:
  • ⏱️ Time → Slider (0 to 100) or a Timer for continuous animation
  • 🎯 EventCount → Number of causal points (e.g., 12 to 40)
  • 🌀 Entropy → Slider (0.0 to 1.0)
  • 0.0 = total order (sequential links)
  • 1.0 = pure chaos (random loops and recursion)
  1. Optional: Add fancy Display tags or colorized point renderers for beauty.
